BPA & Old Owen Road Water Line Replacement

The BPA (Bonneville Power Administration) and Old Owen Road Water Main Replacement project lies between Monroe and Sultan, Washington.

Due to the amount of growth and development in the area, the Highline Water District is replacing approximately 4500 lineal feet of water main with 8-inch pipes and add approximately 7700 lineal feet of 12-inch lines to the area.

HWA completed test pits along the common route and drilled four test borings for stream undercrossings, performed laboratory testing, and conducted engineering analyses. HWA provided draft and final geotechnical reports with recommendations for earthwork, temporary excavations and construction dewatering, pipe bedding and backfill materials, and directional drilling considerations at the stream undercrossing.
