Aurora Avenue North Corridor Project

HWA provided construction inspection and quality assurance testing services during the construction of two pedestrian bridges, nine large MSE retaining walls and side streets abutting Aurora Avenue for this $25M project.

HWA's work effort included monitoring, sampling and testing all trench backfill for underground utilities (storm, sanitary sewer, water, and electrical duct banks & vaults), placement and compaction of structural fills, CSBC, CSTC and hot mix asphalt paving. Quality assurance sampling and laboratory testing of Portland cement concrete, native soils as well as aggregate imports were also performed by HWA.
