HWA performed a preacquisition environmental site assessment to determine the presence and levels of contamination over a two city block area. HWA represented a regional transportation authority in negotiations with Washington State Department of Ecology for a Prospective Purchaser Agreement (PPA). HWA drafted consent decrees, developed a remedial action plan, assisted in public participation process, support during property acquisition negotiations, and assisted with obtaining State grant funds

HWA provided environmental consulting and geotechnical engineering services. HWA performed Phase 1 ESAs on over 10 properties and Phase II ESAs on 7 properties to date, many on expedited schedules. We employed an integrated area-wide approach to meet objectives, timelines, and budgets. HWA assisted with property acquisition negotiations, provided remediation cost estimates, and regulatory compliance.
