HWA completed test pits along the common route and drilled 4 test borings for stream undercrossings, performed laboratory testing, and conducted engineering analyses. HWA provided draft and final geotechnical reports with recommendations for earthwork, temporary excavations and construction dewatering, pipe bedding, and backfill materials, and directional drilling considerations at the stream undercrossing.

The objective of our investigation was to evaluate the subsurface conditions throughout the project area and to provide geotechnical and pavement engineering recommendations. The improvements will included construction of approximately 15,300 ft of a new sanitary sewer system (8 in diameter pipe), approximately 3,200 ft of 10 in water mains to loop critical areas, and the paving of approximately 13,200 ft of distributor streets.
