Ali Sirjani, PE
Geotechnical Engineer
Ali has 13 years of experience performing geotechnical engineering analyses, site investigations, laboratory testing, and construction monitoring and inspection. He has delivered numerous projects that include a broad range of geotechnical services for bridges, aviation, transportation facilities, roadways, parks, pedestrian and bicycle space, vehicle parking and utility conveyance.
Prior to joining HWA, Ali was a field engineer in Iran working on deep excavations, earthwork, soil nail walls, tieback and anchor systems. He was also a recognized teaching assistant of Foundation Engineering course under supervision of Professor Stark at University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.
Ali’s work includes developing design recommendations for deep and shallow foundations, trenching and deep excavation, retaining structures, utility conveyance systems, slope stability analyses, and geotechnical seismic and liquefaction analyses.
