HWA is looking for an experienced Full-Time Environmental Geologist. HWA GeoSciences Inc. is seeking an environmental geologist or hydrogeologist for our Bothell office.

Responsibilities include:

• Field work for a variety of site investigations (geology, hydrogeology, environmental consulting, and geotechnical engineering).

• Phase I site assessments - site inspections, research, and reporting.

• Evaluates laboratory and field data and assemble it into written reports.

• Data collection and evaluation.

• Report writing.

• Project management.

 

Qualifications needed:

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth/Environmental Science, Hydrogeology, or a related field is required.

• M.S. degree preferred, but not required.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• 1-5 years of experience.

• 40-hour HAZWOPER training is preferred.

• Any experience with soil and groundwater contamination chemistry, and/or geology of the Puget Lowland Region is a plus.

• Comfortable being out on construction and drilling sites coordinating with clients, staff, and contractors (in various weather).
