In addition to a positive attitude, a drive to succeed, and loving geotechnical engineering, candidates should have technical expertise in some/all of the following areas:

• Shallow and deep foundations

• Retaining structures

• Slope stability

• Tunneling and trenchless methods

• Soft ground engineering

• Ground improvement methods

• Geotechnical instrumentation

• Seismic evaluation and design

• Highway pavements

• Analysis and design

• Ability to write and review technical reports

• Actively participate in marketing and business development activities

• Staff training/mentoring

Job Requirements:

• 15 - 20 years of experience

• PE / MS in Geotechnical Engineering

• Excellent communication skills (English), written and verbal

• Strong attention to detail

• Able to juggle multiple projects

• Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment

• Starting compensation for this role is $130,400 to $228,000 per year, based on your experience and qualifications

• This is a full-time role

• Monday to Friday is the typical workweek

• Work is performed in-person, onsite, in the field, and at HWA
